Over the centuries, in order to increase the cultivation of these precious Mediterranean fruits and protect them from the harsh winter temperatures, the gardeners of Lake Garda built monumental masonry greenhouses unique in the world: Limonaia.

Every Friday at 09:45am, departing from Via Roma in Gargnano, embark on an exploration of ancient lemon groves and unique vistas along Via Crocefisso. Immerse yourself in tradition with a final tasting of the local produced products of the Limonaia at the Cooperativa Agricola Terre & Sapori.

THE WALK - It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and to carry - on hot days - water, a hat, sun cream and insect repellent. DISABLE PEOPLE - The walk is not recommended for people with walking problems or children in pushchairs, as the route includes uphill parts, cobbled streets and stairs.
